About

Rebuildr is a local renovation company specializing in commercial and residential projects.

Problem

They wanted to position themselves as a friendly and solution orientated company; however the current landscape has been fluttered by competition.

Solution

To set Rebuildr apart, a stylized monogram featuring a small “r” rebuilding into a large “R” was chosen. Paired with a pleasing colour and the font “Stolz” a friendly yet professional mark has been constructed.

Initially, the client supplied AI mockups of what they're looking for, worked within those parameters and beyond, Check7 supplied some versions and an alternate that quickly struck home.

A8 — 1:1 | Round 2

With the initial mark chosen, refinement was the name of the game. Blue was chosen to meet the demands of the brief, and also struck a personal favourite chord with the client.

A9 — 1:1 | Round 3

The blue was optimized and perfected, and some work on the border around the monogram was explored.

A10 — 1:1 | Round 4

The border was further optimized, finding harmony with the colour as well. This allowed inverted colour ways to be optimally displayed, without fighting hierarchy and attention.

The Challenge

Thrive Electrify was growing fast but struggling to communicate its value online. Their website had a high bounce rate, social content lacked engagement, and project information was buried in static images and text-heavy layouts. They needed a clearer digital presence that aligned with their modern, efficient work.

The Approach

Bringing clarity to chaos meant revisiting both the message and the medium. I led a visual refresh of the website, improved user flow, and implemented SEO-friendly content strategies. On social media, I transitioned the brand to a video-forward format to match the fast pace and visual nature of the industry.

The Results

Video-based social content significantly boosted impressions and made project highlights easier to understand at a glance.

Thrive's shift wasn't just visual—it was structural. Clear graphics made complex services feel accessible, while purposeful design backed by performance metrics proved that good design isn't just beautiful—it works.

Music, teaching

A distinguished teacher, in a classical field, needed a logo to be represented as such. The iconic “J” is fused with a music note, and its form functionally takes notes from the greats such as Beethoven, Strauss, Hans Zimmer & Monteverdi. A geometric style typeface was chosen to reflect the client's mantra of “consistent but fair.”
