1 - Research
The first step is research, researching trends, competition, keywords, customers etc…. FIlling out the client questionnaire is a great way to enhance our research and get your input.
2 - Thumbnail + Sketch
Internal
This is the loosest part of the ideation process; quantity over quality. Amidst the slew of ideas, a couple of gems usually reveal themselves.

3 - Rough
Internal
Here, the top thumbnails are selected; and a rough form of construction takes place. Usually still a sketch, just a touch larger in size. After a good selection of choices is made available; we go into the next phase of design.
4 - Proof
We get the proofs ready. Typically around 1-3 of the roughs are selected for proofing. They’re mocked up, refined & digitized. This phase is where the design starts to shape up, and is an excellent spot to review and refine your direction.

Let the design sit for a few days while you consolidate your feedback. Depending on the level of amends (if any), I’ll send them back via e-mail or presentation if further explanation is needed.

5 - Final
Once the final design is prepared, you'll receive a final proof for review. Upon approval and payment, the final design files will be made available to you in a format that suits your needs and preferences.
